We didn't create mylocal.radio to make lots of money for our founders but there are some costs we need to recoup if we are to continue to provide radio as it should be.

We are committed to continuing our promise to have no ads but thought that one sponsorship announcement at the top of each hour across the day would be acceptable to our listeners.

And so, we are ready to hear from potential sponsors.

We have data showing our monthly listenership by program which shows us two things:

1. Our monthly listenership has increased by at least 40% during the past three months with evidence that suggests that the growth is going to continue.
   
   
2. Different programs have different listener numbers - this needs to be reflected in the various sponsorship opportunites.

Our programs fall into three categories, based on average monthly listens across the past six months.

PREMIUM ($60 per month plus GST)

Programs that average more than 120 listens per month - Aussie Lunchtime, Drive Time, Local Weekends, The Morning Crowd and Weekday Afternoons. This works out to be around 50 cents for each time someone hears your sponsorship message.

STANDARD ($40 per month plus GST)

Programs that average between 80 and 120 listens per month - Classic Nights, Really Early Mornings, 60s After Six, 70s After Seven and 80s After Eight. This works out to be between 33 and 50 cents for each time someone hears your message.

UNDISCOVERED GEMS ($20 per month plus GST)

Programs that average fewer than 80 listens per month - Chart Toppers, Friday Night, Saturday Morning, Saturday Night, Sunday Morning, Sunday Night, The Country Mix

Each sponsorship opportunity is a minimum six-month commitment. If you commit for a twelve month sponsorship, however, we will throw in two months for free - only pay for 10!

Every sponsor receives the following:

• Your business named at the start of each hour of your sponsored program (e.g. You're listening to Classic Nights, brought to you by Acme Manufacturing).
• A 30-second sponsorship announcement played at the top of each hour that your sponsored program goes to air.
• Acknowledgement your business on the program page on the mylocal.radio web site
• Acknowledgement on our Friends of mylocal.radio Facebook group - currently 375 members.
• Acknowledgement on our other social media channels - Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok - currently a combined total of 657 followers.
