Our Shout (Out)

You might have read about Your Shout (Out) already - where hotels, cafes, wineries, clubs or even individuals can support our station by creating an audio shout out to be played throughout the broadcasts on mylocal.radio.

In the future, these shout-outs will be charged at $110 per year (including GST), providing our supporters with some exposure on our radio station in return for some gratefully-received financial support.

But to do this properly, we need a critical mass of shout outs. And that's where you come in!

For the first 50 people / venues who fill in form below and provide their audio shout out, they can use the mylocal.radio Your Shout (Out) service at absolutely no cost from now until 30 June 2026.

That's right - at absolutely no cost from now until the end of June.

The rules are:

  • Your Shout (Out) should be short and sharp in something like the following format:


    Hi, it's Dave from The Railway Hotel in Geelong. You can find us on Facebook and Instagram. This is Our Shout (Out) on my local dot radio.

  • We will include Your Shout (Out) into our playlist which will randomly assign shout outs to the broadcast every hour. You might be featured twice in one day, you might be featured every couple of days. We can't predict when Your Shout (Out) will be played but that's part of the fun!
  • In June 2026, we'll send you an invoice for $110. If you want to continue as a paying supporter, you can pay the bill for another 12 months. If you decide that it's not worth $110, let us know, we'll remove Your Shout (Out) from our playlists, metaphorically shake hands and we'll be grateful for your assistance during our first year of operation.

Let's be clear, you are under NO obligation to continue as a paying supporter beyond June 2026.
