And we are back …

During the past couple of days, we have had some great conversations with some of our listeners about how we can save mylocal.radio.

The favoured option is to create an affordable sponsorship model where our sponsors pay a monthly amount and in exchange, we will play a single sponsorship announcement at the start of each hour, highlighting the sponsor associated with that program. We know that we have always talked about being ad-free but when you afe competing with big guys, we need some income to cover our costs. We think that the inconvenience of a single announcement every hour is a small price to pay for the survival of our station.
