Event Time: 3:00pm – 11:00pm

Event Venue: Cricket Club Hotel, High Street (Calder Highway), Charlton (north west Victoria)

We are delighted to support Aussie Hay Runners and BlazeAid. Aussie Hay Runners are an amazing group of volunteers who deliver hay and hope to farmers, their families and communities when they need it most – after fire, after flood or during drought. BlazeAid are also a volunteer group who specialise in re-building fences for farmers who have had then taken or damaged by natural disasters

But with limited Government assistance, both are reliant on donations from generous supporters to purchase fencing materials and hay and to supplement the costs of transport.

At mylocal.radio, we want to do what we can and that’s why we have declared 24 October 2026 to be farmerthon26.Broadcasting live from the Cricket Club Hotel in High Street, eight hours of the very best music of the past 75 years, requests, cheerios, auctions and plenty of opportunities to donate to these two amazing organisations.

And, if you are close to Charlton in north west Victoria, you can drop in to the pub for a drink or a meal and to say “g’day” to Neil, our presenter.
