Radio has traditionally been a one-way medium - someone sits in a studio and broadcasts out to a listening audience. With the advent of email, SMS, WhatsApp, Facebook and other social media channels, we are now able to make the radio experience interactive.

It costs nothing to be a part of Friends of mylocal.radio and, by joining, you get the opportunity to interact with the mylocal.radio team and other listeners. We have a few rules around keeping the content family-friendly, but otherwise it's just a great place to interact with other people who love the very best music of the past 75 years.
